Harvested my fruit bushes
today; it didn’t take long with just five loganberries and nine gooseberries
(that’s berries not bushes) and fortunately the gooseberries were just about
ripe enough to eat raw as part of a very small fruit salad, saving me from
having to weigh out the miniscule amounts of flour, butter and sugar that would
have been necessary to make a two-mouthful crumble.
