Can each day be headlined by a word (or two) and represented by a single sentence?
Will they, in turn, weave together to form a tapestry of the year?

Lightning Bolt
More early morning
television from Rio as I stayed up to see Usain Bolt retain his Olympic sprint
title; lightning may not strike twice but Bolt has now struck gold thrice in
this event alone.
